About Our Collection
 
Our Local History Collection is housed in the lower level of the Minooka Branch. Our collection contains historical information from Channahon, Minooka, Aux Sable and Channahon Townships. Our collection includes genealogical information, photographs, yearbooks, area maps and plat books, newspapers and clippings, church records and more.

Donations
 
We are always looking for new information about the history of our area. Donations are gratefully accepted but not always necessary. We can also photograph, copy or scan your materials and return them to you.

AncestoryPlus is the library edition of the popular genealogy website. It is available for in library use only at the Main and Branch libraries.
 
Heritage Quest Online is available for both in library use and home use. To use from home pick up a brochure or click here for the passwords.
 
Chicago Tribune Historical Edition provides full digital content of the Chicago Tribune from 1849-1985. The Extra Edition provides the same content in a graphic format. You need to have a Three Rivers Public Library card to access this content.
